He is a member of various orthopedics associations in Europe and the United States. == Education and Career == From his early life, Gobbi was in contact with the medical industry: his father Augusto, who was also a doctor, worked as a researcher in connection with the University of Milan). Gobbi studied medicine and surgery for his undergraduate studies, graduating in 1983 after defending an experimental thesis on the trauma suffered in motorcycle sports. He specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1988, publishing research on how to treat leg fractures in athletes. An expert in sports medicine, in 1991 he became the doctor of choice for many of the most famous motocross riders, as well as for athletes in enduro, trial, rally, water sports and alpine skiing.
